The City is required by State law to hold independent revenue conferences in September and February each fiscal year to set the total amount available to be budgeted for the next four years. The conference is held to review the economic outlook and approve revised revenue estimates.

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is the centralized financial management organization for the City of Detroit and is led by the CFO’s Office.
