The Uptown CIA is responsible for helping support and fund improvement projects in the East Fulton, Wealthy Street, East Hills and Eastown business districts. They also oversee the Uptown CIA façade improvement program.

The Uptown BID is responsible for supporting neighborhood businesses, providing services such as landscaping and street cleaning and maintaining improvements made by the Uptown CIA.
